Ferry-boat

Beside the above mentioned lines, throughout the year there are ferry connections from Dubrovnik to other major Croatian harbours

(Korčula, Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar, Split and Rijeka), and to Bari Harbour in Italy.
The tickets, detailed information and time schedules are available at the Jadrolinija Office in Gruž.
During the season the ferry boat Azzurra (Azzura Line) operates from Dubrovnik to Bari Harbour, Italy, several times a week. Tickets and detailed information are available at the Elite Travel agency in Gruž Harbour.

Boat to Island of Lokrum

The boat to the Island of Lokrum (special forestry reserve in the vicinity of Dubrovnik) departs from the Old City Harbour every half hour during the season and lands in the little bay of Portoč. The ride lasts about ten minutes and the boat tickets are purchased in front of the boat.
The boat does not operate in poor weather conditions.

Boat to Elafite Islands

The boat to the Elafite Islands (Koločep, Lopud and Šipan) departs from Gruž Harbour. The time schedules are available at the Jadrolinija Office in Gruž located in close proximity to the landing place and at the Dubrovnik Tourist Board Information Offices. Boat tickets can be purchased at the Jadrolinija Office.

Boat to Island of Mljet

In addition to the ferry boat departing from Gruž Harbour to Sobra Harbour on the Island of Mljet – time schedules and tickets available at the Jadrolinija Office in Gruž - you may also reach the Island of Mljet on the hydrofoil Nona Ana. Apart from the Sobra Harbour, during the season the hydrofoil arrives in Polače Harbour situated in the vicinity of the Mljet National Park. The Jadrolinija Agency ferry operates from Sobra Harbour to Prapratno Harbour on the Pelješac Peninsula all the year round and during the season also to the Island of Korčula and to Split.

Boat Gruz–Lapad–Gruz

If you have just taken a walk to Gruz, or you have just arrived in Dubrovnik on a ship, if you are heading for Lapad and are already tired, if you have missed your bus and a taxi is nowhere in sight, even if you have no special reason – we suggest the traditional boat transport. The boat operates from Gruz to Lapad and back only in summer, in the morning (from 7.00 am to 12.30 am), at quite convenient prices. As soon as a few passengers appear, the boat-ride man starts the engine and sails to the opposite side of the harbour. With no official time schedule, the boat leaves approximately every ten minutes. In Gruž the boat lands in front of the open-air market, and in Lapad in front of the Lapad Hotel. The sign Taxi Gruz-Lapad-Gruz and the price are posted on the boat.
