| Besides the easy access to city buses and taxis, it should also be noted that there are good connections to the nearby islands. During the summer, a 15-minute boat ride takes you from the old town harbor to Lokrum Island every half hour. There is also a seasonal ferry from the old town harbor to nearby Cavtat. Gruž Harbor has daily connections a few times a day to the islands of Koločep, Lopud and Šipan. Ferry and catamaran services to Mljet Island and the national park are also available from Gruž Harbor. A catamaran service from Dubrovnik to Lastovo Island is available during the summer months.
